A tool for youth soccer coaches, parents, and club administrators to research upcoming opponents, generate pre-match scouting reports, and track team performance over the season - at any level of youth soccer.

Anyone involved in youth soccer who wants a smarter way to prepare for matches. Whether you're a head coach, an assistant, a club admin managing multiple teams, or a parent who wants to understand how your child's team stacks up - Youth Soccer Match Insights is built for you.

Just an account and your team's basic info - state, gender, and birth year group. Setup takes a few minutes and you'll be searching opponents and generating reports right away.

The app currently covers teams with birth years from 2007 through 2017, across all 50 states and both boys and girls divisions.

Use the opponent search in the Match Setup section. Filter by state, gender, and birth year to narrow the list, then search by team name. Once you select a team you can generate a scouting report with full match insights.

Make sure your state, gender, and birth year filters match the opponent's league region and age group. If the team still isn't showing up, reach out to us at youthsoccermatches@gmail.com and let us know - we'll look into it.

We aggregate match and team data from multiple sources, including user-generated data, to build the most complete picture of youth soccer activity across the country. Coverage continues to grow as more coaches and clubs use the app.

For the most accurate reports, we currently support scouting across the same gender and within one birth year in either direction. If the opponent you've selected falls outside that range, the app will flag it - the report could still be generated but the insights may be less reliable.

A match report is a pre-match scouting summary generated by the platform based on your opponent's data. It highlights patterns in their results, tendencies, and potential areas to exploit - written in plain language so you can share it with your staff or use it directly in your game prep.

In the Match Setup section, find your opponent and tap "Save Match to Season and Generate Report." The platform will analyze the available data and produce a report within seconds. If you want to log the match without generating a report yet, tap "Save Match and Add Another" instead.

Generated reports are available in the Match Reports section. You can also manage them - edit, delete, or assign them to a season - in the My Matches section.

The platform gets smarter with use. The more information coaches add - including notes about their own team and observations about opponents - the more accurate and useful the reports become over time. For opponents with limited data, reports will reflect that, so always use them as a strong starting point alongside your own coaching judgment.

In the My Matches section, find the match and enter a post-game note. These notes tell the platform how the match went and feed directly into making future reports more accurate and relevant to your team.

Yes. Your team profile includes performance sliders that you update over the season. These track how your team is developing across key areas and add important context to your match reports.

Yes. Reports can be shared via email or exported to PDF for printing or sharing with your staff and club.

Yes. Your team profile, match history, notes, and reports are all saved to your account and will be there when you log back in on any device.

Password changes are handled through the login screen. Use the "Forgot password" link to reset via email.

You can view, update your credit card, or cancel your subscription at any time through the Manage Billing section in your profile.

Youth Soccer Match Insights is not available as a native app download. Instead it runs as a Progressive Web App (PWA) - which means you can install it directly from your browser onto your home screen in seconds, no app store required.

On iPhone (Safari):
Open the app in Safari, tap the Share button (the box with an arrow at the bottom of the screen), scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen, then tap Add to confirm.

On Android (Chrome):
Open the app in Chrome, tap the three-dot menu in the top right, tap Add to Home Screen, then tap Add to confirm.

Once added, the app will open full-screen from your home screen just like a native app.

Make sure your state, gender, and birth year filters are set correctly - search results are scoped to those values. If filters look right and search is still empty, try refreshing the page. If the problem persists, contact us at youthsoccermatches@gmail.com.

Try a hard refresh (hold the reload button in your mobile browser). Make sure you're using an up-to-date version of Safari or Chrome. If issues continue, reach out with your device type and browser version and we'll investigate.
